13th Annual Fishers of Men West Coast Tournament

Twenty-five men (and young men) attended the 13th Annual Fishers of Men West Coast Tournament this August at the newly remolded Hotel Playa del Sol in the East Cape. Some families were represented by three generations of anglers! More than half of the attendees were first timers. We had three excellent days of fishing! Mostly tuna were caught, in the 35-70 lb. range, but we also saw a few wahoo & dorado. The tournament raised over $3000 for Fishers of Men, helping to send shoes and Bibles to our Casting4Souls events. One of the highlights of this tournament was the Gratitude Meeting, where the men share from the heart and pray for each other.  The tournament was filmed by Angler Chronicles for one of their upcoming episodes on Fox Sports West.
